Unlike most traditional financial advisory firms who charge based on a percentage of assets under management, we charge a flat, annual retainer fee. We believe that our value lies not in our investment consulting work, but in our financial planning work. We view investment consulting as a means to an end — the achievement of the goals and vision laid out during the financial planning process. We do not purport to be able to beat the market through market timing, manager selection or stock picking. In fact, our investment philosophy is in direct opposition to those ideas. As such, we believe that the annual retainer model better reflects the true value proposition realized when you work with us.
Our minimum annual retainer is $9,000 (billed monthly or quarterly depending on client preference), and we are happy to provide a fee quote customized for your situation at our Introductory Meeting. As such, our services likely make the most sense for those with a net worth of $1 – $10 million. These fees include all of our Wealth Management services. To determine if we are a good fit, our initial consultation is always complimentary.
